B. David Massaband, DPM, FACFAS

B. David Massaband, DPM, FACFASB. David Massaband, DPM, FACFAS is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He serves as the Director of Tower Podiatry, The Foot & Ankle Surgical Institute.

Dr. Massaband earned his undergraduate degree in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine, an affiliate of the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in Podiatric Medicine at the VA Loma Linda Medical Center, where he later served as an attending consultant. For more than 30 years, Dr. Massaband has led his private practice, specializing in complex reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic foot care, wound management, and limb salvage. His additional clinical interests include custom orthotics and prosthetics, bunion and hammertoe correction, sports medicine, nail and skin disorders, and pediatric foot and ankle conditions. Dr. Massaband has held numerous leadership and academic positions throughout his career. He served as Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from 2014 to 2017 and currently serves as Director of the Podiatric Surgery Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai. He is also the Director of the Podiatry Student Externship Program at Cedars-Sinai and serves as an Adjunct Professor for several colleges of podiatric medicine, including Western University, Barry University, and Kent State University. Through his dedication to patient care, surgical excellence, research, and medical education, Dr. Massaband continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of foot and ankle surgery and podiatric education.
